Training of Ministry of Finance staff n Azerbaijan

The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan is receiving support through this cooperation project to develop its capacities for guaranteeing the training of its staff. This project, funded by the European Commission and managed by FIIAPP, has a duration of 24 months.

Since its independence and transition to a market economy, Azerbaijan has experienced significant economic growth. This project is part of the Action Plan that aims to continue this modernisation and foster the use of information and communication technologies by the tax administration, and guarantee compliance with the tax code. To accomplish this, 2,019 persons in the administration will be trained and provided with technological tools, new databases, and strategic plans.
