In this twinning project, Spain and Algeria have twinned together with the aim of supporting the Algerian Ministry of Finance in improving its audit system.
For the next 24 months, Spanish experts from the Institute of Fiscal Studies will be working with their Algerian counterparts to implement a new set of tax regulations and establish the best use of public funds.
The European Union is providing this project with a budget of €1.4 million which will be managed by the International and Ibero-American Foundation for Public Administration and Policies (FIIAPP).
