This project financed by the European Commission arose out of the need to ensure good management of the flow of people between the European Union and Tunisia, as well as to strengthen the capacities of Tunisian authorities to develop and implement its national migration policy. One of the project objectives is to improve the management of labour migration and to support the reintegration of returnees to the country, in addition to launching a programme aimed at mobilising the diaspora.
The project has a duration of three years and foresees the participation of seven Member States: Belgium, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Poland, and Sweden, with France as the leader. FIIAPP, the junior partner in the project, with the support of Spain's Ministry of Labour and Social Security, will manage all activities related to the themes of labour and professional migration and the integration of returning migrants.
