Support for reform of the Myanmar Police Force

The objective of the delegated cooperation project entitled "Support for Reform of the Myanmar Police Force", which is financed by the European Commission and managed by FIIAPP, is to contribute to a more preventive, balanced and professional approach from the forces of law and order based on international best practices and respect for human rights. 

The project, which will be carried out over five years, will improve the institutional capacity of the Myanmar Police Force, modernising its management and training procedures, supporting changes in the security forces and promoting a service that is oriented towards citizens, as well as towards gender equality and respect for human rights in different areas including: criminal investigation, community policing and crowd control.
