This is a twinning project between the European Union and the former Yugoslav Republic (FYR) of Macedonia to adapt its environmental policies to those in force in Europe.
The project's objective is the strengthen the FYR Macedonia's Ministry of the Environment and Territorial Ordinance In the area of waste treatment and to support it in adapting to European directives on waste and waste treatment and the flow of special wastes.
The European Commission-funded project is managed by NICO as the lead member in collaboration with the UK-DoE and FIIAPP and it will last two years.
