International law recognises the fundamental rights and freedoms of human beings and citizens as the most important constitutional and legal values. With this project funded by the European Commission, FYR Macedonia aims to implement its new anti-discrimination law to the standards of Member States.
FIIAPP will manage this project for 8 months with the collaboration of experts from the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality. The aim will be to transfer the necessary knowledge to Macedonian counterparts with the aim of improving national policies, laws and practices against discrimination; strengthening capacities for prevention and protection against discrimination, improving cooperation between different public bodies to avoid exclusion of people and activating awareness-raising campaigns.
