EUROsociAL Bridge

EUROsociAL is a cooperation programme between Latin America and the European Union that seeks to contribute to the improvement of social cohesion in Latin American countries, as well as to institutional strengthening, by supporting their processes of design, reform and implementation of public policies.

This EUROsociAL Bridge phase, led by the FIIAPP, has a duration of one year and an execution volume of 1 million euros. EUROsociAL Bridge has a threefold objective: on the one hand, to consolidate and capitalise on experiences from the previous phase, EUROsociAL+. Secondly, it will contribute to deepening the bi-regional dialogue, within the framework of the EU-CELAC Summit in 2023, giving continuity to the roadmap and agreements of the summit. Finally, it will make it possible to identify priorities and actions for the future programme, aligned with the TEI "Inclusive and Egalitarian Societies" and with a Global Gateway approach.

EUROsociAL Bridge structures its framework for action in 3 areas: gender equality policies, democratic governance and social policies, promoting the inclusion of the gender perspective as a central and cross-cutting element of the programme.
