Consolidation of external public auditing in Moldova

This cooperation project, funded by the European Commission and managed by FIIAPP, represents an important contribution to implementation of the National Strategic Plan on external public auditing in Moldova. In the next 24 months, it will work to achieve results such as the strengthening of the auditing capabilities of the Court of Auditors, legal reform, and improvement of human resource management in the Court of Auditors and institutional interaction.

The Republic of Moldova is a member country of the European Neighbourhood Policy Programme and is currently undertaking a series of reforms in various public institutions for the purpose of integration with the social and economic structures of the EU under a Collaboration and Cooperation Agreement. The reform facilitated by this twinning project extends to all levels of governance.
