The general objective is to foster Morocco's inclusion in the European Research Area.
The Moroccan Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Leader Training, Lahcen Daoudi, visited Madrid as part of a European cooperation project managed by the FIIAPP. The Spanish Ministry of Economics and Competition welcomed Daoudi and several high-level Moroccan authorities who had the opportunity to visit the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) and the CIEMAT (Centre for Energy, Environmental and Technological Research.
The project, which is financed by the European Union, is part of the European Neighbourhood Policy and features Spain and France as partners. The general objective is to foster Morocco’s inclusion in the European Research Area.
Relations between Spain and France in the field of research were deepened during the visit, and the expectation is that a framework agreement will be signed between the CSIC and the Moroccan Ministry for Higher Education, Scientific Research and Leader Training as well as the creation of a Technical Committee to monitor the progress made.
