Ambas instituciones han reflexionado sobre la necesidad de un modelo de cooperación que se adapte a las necesidades de los países latinoamericanos
The Uruguayan Agency for International Cooperation (AUCI) shares its role as an international cooperation operator with FIIAPP, as well as the coordination of European Union programmes managed by the Foundation and which Uruguay participates in, such as EUROsociAL+, EVALÚA , EL PAcCTO , COPOLAD and EUROCLIMA+.
For this reason, representatives of the Uruguayan Agency for International Cooperation (AUCI) shared their coordination experience gained within the framework of EUROsociAL during a visit to FIIAPP, so that it could be extended to the rest of the programmes and also in order to promote such alliances in the work of different instruments of regional cooperation. The delegation invited by the social cohesion programme was headed by its Director, Andrea Vignolo, and the Head of decentralized cooperation, governance, health and the productive sector, Lucía Hornes.
Likewise, this visit forms part of the objective of giving continuity to the roadmap created at the round table-country debate previously held in Montevideo. At this previous meeting, focused on achieving a cooperation model adapted to the real needs of the countries, new commitments were established regarding the monitoring and assessment of public policies, the measurement of their impact on social cohesion and, in general, on the sustainability of all the shared actions.
