The workshop, which is a part of the project on local development funded by the European Commission and managed by FIIAPP, was presented by the project’s communication specialist, an expert hired by FIIAPP and by the director of Fundación Tus Ojos, a firm engaged to manage the audiovisual aspects of the project.
Over four days, the specialists at the Social Support Fund (FAS) of Angola were trained on how to create and develop a digital marketing plan, social marketing, video production in various formats, and social networks: Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
After having completed the course, the participants highlighted the importance of developing a strategy for information and communication technologies in order to promote and disseminate the activities of the FAS. They also stressed the importance of learning how, thanks to these media, organisations can improve their visibility and relationship with citizens and other institutions by adopting a rapid and effective mechanism for dissemination and information.
This training aims to bring the FAS specialists in all the provinces of Angola up to speed on new technologies and information sharing.
