A course on audio-visual production for young filmmakers is taking place until 27th September in Niamey, Niger.
The FIIAPP is collaborating in an AECID programme, ACERCA, aimed at training human capital in cultural and development projects. One of the activities is being held at the moment in Niamey, Niger.A course on audio-visual production is being held from 8th to 27th September thanks to an agreement reached between the Technical Cooperation Office of Niger, the Franco-Nigerien Cultural Centre, the National Cinematography Centre of Niger and the FIIAPP.
The main objective of the course is to improve the skills of young people to facilitate their incorporation into the job market and, in turn, encourage economic development in the audio-visual sector. It is noteworthy that the course was very popular among young Nigeriens, so much so that the number of applications received exceeded the available spaces.
The course is being given by “Termites Films”, a company selected because of its specialization in the audio-visual field and its extensive experience in the international cooperation sector.
The course consists of seven modules that include a theoretical part and a practical one, and will conclude with the filming and editing of two student projects.
