The FIIAPP has participated in the event ‘the country of entrepreneurs’ through its European project EU4DigitalUA to support Ukraine in the expansion of the integrated e-Entrepreneur service
Kiev hosted the event ‘The Country of Entrepreneurs’ where the extension of the comprehensive e-Entrepreneur service was presented. This service, supported by the European Union through its EU4DigitalUA project, among others, allows Ukrainians to create and develop online businesses quickly and transparently.
The integrated e-Entrepreneur service is a digital public service for Ukrainian entrepreneurs, developed to streamline business registration and management. The service now offers five additional functions that simplify business processes: from hiring employees to registering cash registers, all accessible with a few clicks on the Diia portal. By reducing bureaucracy, saving time and fostering collaboration between businesses and public administrations, these digital solutions help Ukrainian entrepreneurs overcome challenges and support the country’s economy.
The presentation was made, among others, by the Deputy Head of the European Union in Ukraine, Rémi Duflot, together with the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Minister for Digital Transformation, Valeriia Ionan, and eGA Board Member, Ingrid Toonekurg.
‘Today, Ukraine demonstrates how digital innovation can drive economic growth and resilience even in today’s most challenging circumstances. Entrepreneurs are the backbone of the country’s economic recovery and this know-how solution represents an absolute milestone towards the security, efficiency and transparency of Ukraine’s business administration’, said Rémi Duflot, Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine.
For his part, the Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Development of Education, Science and Technologies said: ‘Ukrainian businesses play a key role in the development of the country. For our part, as a government, we are doing our best to make life easier for entrepreneurs by eliminating unnecessary bureaucracy, providing incentives for growth and creating the best conditions for starting a new business. Now, opening or expanding a business can be done with a single application in just a few minutes, instead of a month and a half of visits to government offices’.
Through the European project EU4DigitalUA implemented by the FIIAPP in Spain and the European project DT4UA implemented by the e-Governance Academy in Estonia, communication support is provided to improve and implement this e-Entrepreneur service.
Ukrainians have already submitted 1,870 applications on the Diia portal, which allows them to receive essential e-Entrepreneur services within minutes rather than months.
