A delegation of specialists from the Cuban Chamber of Commerce visited the European Business and Innovation Centre CEEI Bahía de Cádiz in Puerto de Santa María. This activity was carried out as part of the 2nd Cuba-EU Expert Exchange programme, financed by the European Union and managed by FIIAPP, which aims to accompany the Cuban Government in reforming its socio-economic policy.
The objective of this study visit was to learn about different methods for designing and implementing training programmes. To this end, the Cuban experts participated in different working groups at the CEEI on issues such as training businesspeople involved on foreign trade and the training methods used by the different chambers of commerce.
In addition to this, the work programme included a presentation at Cadiz Provincial Council, working sessions with the Province of Cadiz Business Confederation and with the University of Cadiz, a visit to the Alestis Aerospace aeronautical plant in Puerto Real and another to the Social Economy Fair organised by Jerez City Council.
