The project presents its action plan for 2018, with initiatives to prevent racism and xenophobia
The first Steering Committee for the project “Living Together Without Discrimination” (Vivre ensemble sans discrimination) has taken place. The project is funded by the European Union through its EU Emergency Trust Fund for Africa. This meeting marks the start of the activities, with the presentation of the annual action plan.
AECID and FIIAPP, together with the General Secretariat for Immigration and Emigration, through the Spanish Observatory for Racism and Xenophobia (OBERAXE), are implementing this Delegated Cooperation project that aims to contribute to coexistence in the country without discrimination.
The project is based on protecting fundamental rights and pays special attention to the gender perspective, it, therefore, hopes to strengthen public instruments and policies aimed at preventing racism and xenophobia towards migrants.
The meeting was attended by representatives from the three institutions, in addition to the European Union delegation in Rabat. On the Moroccan side, the participants included the Ministry Delegate for Moroccans Living Abroad and Migration Affairs (MDMLAMA) and the National Council for Human Rights (NCHR).
