The 2015 Ibero-American Specialised Technical Training Programme, PIFTE-Spain, will help train some 95 Ibero-American public managers.
Today the Call for Applicants to the 2015 Ibero-American Specialised Training Programme I in its Spain edition, PIFTE-Spain, was announced. This Spanish Cooperation programme, which is being administered by the Agency for International Cooperation for Development (AECID), will be supported this year by the FIIAPP, which will award the grants to the participants for their travel to Spain and living expenses during their stay.
The Programme offers technical training by professionals in the Spanish Administration and public institutions to persons working in different Latin American public institutions. This session will include the collaboration of experts from Spain’s Institute for Tax Studies, National Public Administration Institute and National School of Civil Protection.
The purpose of PIFTE-Spain is to increase the capacity for action of public institutions in different Ibero-American countries to address major political, social, economic and development challenges under the criteria of Aid Quality and Effectiveness.
The beneficiaries of the Programme are mainly Latin American public institutions which participate through the individuals responsible for the design and management of different public policies in the training activities promoted by the Programme.
In this first session of the 2015 Programme, there are approximately 95 slots distributed in five courses on different topics.
Information, applications and processing of same for participating in the courses offered in PIFTE-Spain sessions will be handled online, according to the procedures established by the AECID through its website.
