The project to support the Algerian Ministry of Industry and Mines organises a Hispano-Algerian Conference on industrial innovation
Casa Árabe (Madrid) hosted the Hispano-Algerian Conference on Industrial Innovation, organised by the “Support to the Ministry of Industry and Mines in its strategy of industrial innovation in Algeria” twinning project, which ends this year.
For the past 2 years, FIIAPP has participated in the management of this twinning project financed by the European Union and led by France, in collaboration with Finland and Spain, with the aim of supporting the Algerian Ministry in developing its industrial innovation strategy .
Five Algerian participants met with Spanish experts to address issues related to the monitoring, evaluation and adaptation of industrial innovation training plans. Knowledge that contributes to the industrial modernisation policy of Algeria in order to diversify the national economy through the reactivation of other sectors.
During the inauguration, Rafael Rodrigo, General Secretary of Scientific Policy Coordination at the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, recalled that Spain shares a “common past with Algeria” and that “we have collaborated in drawing up a road map in the form of industrial innovation strategy”.
The Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (SFST), the Complutense University of Madrid (CUM), the Spanish Patents and Trademarks Office (SPTO), the Centre for Industrial Technological Development (CITD) and the School of Industrial Organization (SIO) participated in the event, among others. The Algerian delegation also visited the School for Industrial Organisation, where they worked on the preparation and implementation of a training plan.
