SOCIEUX+ expands its cooperation activities to include online activities focused on alleviating the socio-economic impact of Covid-19 on social protection and employment policies.

Peer cooperation is now more important than ever, and being able to quickly exchange information on the lessons learned during this pandemic is essential to ensuring equitable and inclusive social protection systems and employment policies.

The project, based on its experience in the exchange of knowledge and peer learning in the areas of social protection and employment policies, is prepared to contribute to this response.

For this reason, SOCIEUX+, a programme financed by the European Union and partly managed by FIIAPP, offers a new form of technical assistance to mitigate the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, which focuses on social protection, work and employment. The process for requesting this support, which will be implemented through remote activities, has been simplified and is available through this form.

Meanwhile, SOCIEUX+ continues its cooperative activities with its partners, turning previously scheduled activities in the field into remote cooperation, providing online support through different platforms and continuing the activities and dialogue between experts.

About the project

SOCIEUX+, an EU initiative to promote social protection, work and employment is a technical cooperation instrument established and co-funded by the European Union. Based on the peer exchange model, SOCIEUX+ shares European knowledge and experiences through short-term missions, usually by experts from different public administrations.

SOCIEUX+ offers technical assistance to more than 155 countries, responding to their needs regarding social protection and employment policy, through activities organised on request. Since its inception in 2014, SOCIEUX+ has implemented more than 256 activities in 45 countries, with a total of 7,600 days of activities.

The initiative is implemented by an association led by Expertise France (EF), FIIAPP, the Belgian International Cooperation for Social Protection (BELINCOSOC) and the Belgian Development Agency (Enabel).
