Spain, France and Finland join forces to manage a European Union project on industrial innovation in Algeria.
The kick-off event for the Twinning project between French, Spanish and Finnish institutions and the Algerian Ministry of Industry and Mines was held at the Centre International de Conferences Alger (CICA) in Algiers.
This project, funded by the European Union with a budget of €1,450,000, is a collaborative effort between the French Ministry of Economy and Finance, as the lead partner, through Expertise France International Expertise (FEI); Spain’s Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness, through the International and Ibero-American Foundation for Administration and Public Policies (FIIAPP); and Finland’s Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, as the junior partner.
This project seeks to create a comprehensive and innovative information system applying international standards. Specifically it will develop data processing tools and aims to create a support network for SMEs to promote research and development (R&D).
This two-year Twinning project is framed within the association agreement between the European Union and the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria.
