The FIIAPP, in Tirana, Albania and in cooperation with the country's public health institute, organised the preparation module for the 2015 Annual Scientific Conference of the MediPIET Network.
From 27th to 30th July, this training activity was held in Tirana, Albania. It was designed so that the “fellows”, students in the learning-by-doing training programme of the MediPIET programme, could test and exhaustively review the scientific presentations on their epidemiological research, which will be presented at the MediPIET Scientific Conference in November of this year.
The training module was prepared by a roster of experts with solid experience in international epidemiological conferences in 12 non-community Mediterranean countries and five European Union countries.
THE 2015 MediPIET SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE
With 150 attendees from over 20 countries expected, the 2015 Scientific Conference will be held in Skopje, Macedonia, from 16th to 19th November. The aim is to bring the prestigious European ESCAIDE conference to the Mediterranean region, where the MediPIET project operates. ESCAIDE has been held since 2007, and it represents the benchmark for EPIET training in field epidemiology and a parallel to the MediPIET programme.
