The project, financed by the European Commission with nearly 30 million euros and managed by the FIIAPP in the delegated cooperation mode, includes the collaboration of the FAS (Social Support Fund of Angola), in addition to the participation of experts hired by the FIIAPP in Angola.
This meeting served to plan the activities and work that will be done in 2015, and special emphasis was placed on activities for strengthening the local economy.
This project aims to strengthen its three main components: rehabilitation or construction of social and economic infrastructures, local economic development, and strengthening of the institutional capacities of municipalities. To these three components, the European Union and FIIAPP have together added two more components: coordination and management and communication and visibility of the project as a whole.
