Good governments help eradicate poverty throughout the world
The International Ibero-American Foundation of Public Administration and Policies(FIIAPP) is currently managing approximately 80 cooperation projects throughout the world focusing on “governance.” In practice, the FIIAPP promotes best practices in public administrations throughout the world to improve people’s quality of life.
The nearly 80 ongoing cooperation projects are located all over the world. Latin America, Northern Africa, the Middle East and Sub-Saharan Africa are the Foundation’s priority areas of activity.
We also work in all different sectors. Weare currently managing health care projects in Croatia, justice projects in Turkey and Morocco, and security projects in the Sahel area. In Colombia, we are providing training for police and customs agents in the fight against drug trafficking and corruption. In Honduras, we are working on improving the level of safety for the public, among others.
Migratory issues are also very important for the FIIAPP.
We are working on various projects that are intended to regulate migratory practices between the EU and Africa, and between the EU and Latin America.
Financing for the management of our projects mostly comes from European funds. Spanish civil servants and public experts are in charge of executing our projects in the field. Every year, we send over one thousand experts to the rest of the world.
