The European EUROsociAL+ programme has produced an audio-visual guide with the best experiences and practices to fight against corruption in Latin America.
The Democratic Governance policy area of the programme EUROsociAL+, financed by the European Union and directed by FIIAPP, in collaboration with the Ibero-American Network of Prosecutors against Corruption, the Ibero-American Association of Public Prosecutors and the Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office of Brazil, has coordinated the creation of an audio-visual guide with the best experiences and practices to fight corruption in Latin America .
A year ago, the publication “Best practices in the fight against corruption” was produced, and to complement and support this publication, EUROsociAL TV has produced a complete audio-visual series based on the interviews conducted in an activity with Prosecutors in Brasilia.
Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Panama and Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay are participating in this initiative, in addition to Portugal and Spain, representing European Union experiences..
Public Prosecutors‘Offices from the 17 countries belonging to the Specialised Network of Prosecutors against Corruption are taking part in the launch of this audio-visual series, which EUROsociAL+ and the European Union are supporting as part of the common goal of fighting corruption in the region. The Network was initially founded by Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Costa Rica, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Portugal, the Dominican Republic and Uruguay. Thanks to work done by the Iberoamerican Association of Public Prosecutors’ Offices (AIAMP) it was possible for Spain, El Salvador, Guatemala and Peru to join as well.
