To commemorate the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, the FIIAPP, in coordination with the SC-CONALTID, will conduct a film series between 26th and 30th June.
The “European project to support the fight against drug trafficking in application of the law” , which is managed by the FIIAPP and funded by the European Union and the AECID , welcomes this film series in the Bolivian film library. The film library will screen a total of five feature films related to drug trafficking and drug addiction, as well as tapes related to human trafficking. All the films that will be screened won many international awards when they were released.
At the beginning of each session, 2 short domestically-produced films will be screened. They have been selected from among the 10 best short films in the First Short Film Contest : “Lights, Camera, Action: against the consumption of drugs and human trafficking”.
After watching each film, a film circle will be held where each session will have a person specialized in the topic who will provide guidance and explanations on the film’s subject matter.
These activities are related to the world of communication and are aimed at raising awareness among the general population of the fight against drug consumption and human trafficking.
