Con este convenio, ambas instituciones buscan promover acciones de cooperación técnica e institucional y apoyar el logro de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible
The director of FIIAPP, Anna Terrón, and the Secretary General of the IILA, Donato Di Santo, at the signing of the agreement
The International and Ibero-American Foundation for Administration and Public Policies (FIIAPP) and the Italo-Latin American Institute (IILA) have signed a collaboration agreement in Rome, in which both organisations strengthen their ties in cooperation and coordination.
With this agreement, signed by the director of FIIAPP, Anna Terrón Cusí, and the Secretary General of the IILA, Donato Di Santo, the two institutions commit to strengthening and advancing in areas related to issues of interest to both parties: exchanging information on international cooperation, regional cooperation and improvement of public policies; as well as encouraging the carrying out of research work in their fields of competence.
Both FIIAPP and the IILA work together in various cooperation programmes financed by the European Union, such as EUROsociAL+ and El PAcCTO.
Since 2010, FIIAPP and the IILA have collaborated as part of the EUROsociAL+ programme. In this programme, financed by the European Union and managed by FIIAPP, the IILA has facilitated the transmission of experiences and lessons learned to inspire and support public policy reforms for social cohesion in Latin America.
The Assistance Programme Against Transnational Organised Crime, El PAcCTO, is financed by the European Union and managed by FIIAPP and Expertise France, in collaboration with the Italo-Latin American Institute and Portugal’s Camões Institute.
In this programme, FIIAPP and the IILA work together to alleviate the influence of organised crime in the region with the highest rates of violence in the world.
