The EUROCLIMA+ programme has offered a session focused on issues that need to be taken into account for monitoring and evaluating public climate policies
As part of the annual NDC Global Conference 2019, EUROCLIMA+ , a programme financed by the European Union with a climate governance component led by FIIAPP, has organized a session addressing technical and political issues that must be taken into account when structuring a monitoring and evaluation system for climate policies.
To organize the session ‘How to structure an M&E system for climate policies: experiences from Colombia and Spain’, the EUROCLIMA+ programme has enjoyed the collaboration of the LEDS LAC practices community , a network of organizations and individuals working in the promotion, design and implementation of LEDS in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Thanks to the lessons learned from previous experiences in Colombia, Spain and the UNP DTU Partnership , a participatory exchange around the Paris Agreement Regulation has been proposed in this session with which to identify opportunities for greater exchange and collaboration .
Global NDC Conference 2019

The goal of this conference is to inspire those in charge of the formulation of public policies and help them accelerate the pace and scale of the changes necessary for this transformation through the NDCs accepted after the Paris Agreement.
