There are often power shortages in Jordan. The FIIAPP will work in this country with the assistance of IDAE and REE
The FIIAPP will manage a new cooperation project in Jordan financed by the EU with 1,700,000 euros. The Institute for Diversification and Energy Savings and Red Eléctrica de España will collaborate with the Foundation to improve the planning, management and efficiency of the national electricity system in Jordan.
The main objectives are to foster and integrate renewable energy in the national system and improve the efficiency and maintain the transmission lines so the costs as well as the environmental impacts decrease.
Moreover, they will share experiences on the use and design of simulators and special emphasis will be placed on interconnections with neighbouring countries.
