Bogotá and Barrancabermeja host the kick-off events for the Pathways to Integrity, Transparency and Comprehension of the Public Domain.
In Bogotá and Barrancabermeja, the Secretariat of Transparency of the Office of the Presidency of Colombia held the events to launch the Pathways to Integrity, Transparency and Comprehension of the Public Domain, a teaching tool designed to inculcate a social conscience in the creation of a public system with integrity and transparency.
These pedagogic sessions are aimed mainly at public servants and university and high school students, and use different tools such as workshops, stories, role-playing and songs for the purpose of creating an environment for reflection on the ethical, practical and integrity-related dilemmas that exist within the public sphere so that, through these reflections, they can be invited to participate in the construction of a public system with greater integrity and transparency.
The opening events were attended by Camilo Enciso, Secretary of Transparency, and Rachel Brazier, Head of the Political Section of the European Union in Colombia, as well as representatives of Colombian entities, academics, civil servants, teachers, students and participants in the process of building the pathways.
The Pathways to Integrity, Transparency and Comprehension of the Public Domain were developed by the Center for Research and Popular Education/Peace Program (CINEP/PPP), which is part of the anti-corruption and transparency Colombia project funded by the European Commission and managed by FIIAPP.
