A high-level delegation from Macedonia will visit Galicia (Spain) within the framework of an international cooperation project managed by the FIIAPP jointly with the Xunta (Galician regional government) and the Netherlands. The twinning project is being financed by the European Commission.
A high-level delegation from Macedonia will visit Galicia (Spain) within the framework of an international cooperation project managed by the FIIAPP jointly with the Xunta (Galician regional government) and the Netherlands. The twinning project is being financed by the European Commission.
The International and Ibero-American Foundation for Administration and Public Policies (FIIAPP) manages an international cooperation project in Macedonia together with the Xunta de Galicia and the Dutch Knowledge Centre InfoMil of the Netherlands. The project aims to strengthen the Macedonian inspection system in order to protect the environment.
From 18 to 22 May, a delegation from the Republic of Macedonia will visit several companies from different sectors as examples of good practices in the field of environmental inspections and compliance with environmental regulations by companies.
The group will be composed of representatives of the Central Environmental Inspectorate, the Ministry of Environment and Territorial Planning and municipalities of the Republic of Macedonia who will be received by environmental inspection officials from the Ministry of the Environment.
The Macedonian delegation will visit the General Secretariat for Environmental Quality and Assessment, the Environmental Laboratory of Galicia and the General Directorate for Nature Conservation, among others. In terms of industry, Macedonian representatives will meet some leading companies in the wood processing, dairy processing, brewing and waste management sectors, among others.
The Twinning project has a budget of one million euros, financed by the European Commission.
