What can we communicate?

Request for content or documents, regardless of their format or medium, that are held by FIIAPP and have been prepared or acquired by it in the performance of its duties.

They allow any person, physical or legal, to report any possible non-compliance or difficulty in accessing the content of the website or mobile application with the established accessibility requirements.

    Requirements

    • Full name (mandatory).
    • DNI or NIE (recommended).
    • Email (optional).
    • Name of the media outlet or organization on whose behalf you act (when applicable).
    • Preferred mode of access to the requested information (dropdown: email, postal mail).
    • Do you want to justify the motivation for your request? It is not mandatory, and no request will be excluded for lacking justification.

    You may submit your request in any of Spain’s co-official languages.

    Procedure

    • Reception of requests: Managed by the Administration.
    • Information requirement: If the request lacks sufficient information, the Administration will ask the applicant, via the contact address provided, to complete it within a maximum of ten business days. If no response is received within this period, the process will be considered abandoned, and the time for issuing a resolution will be suspended.
    • Resolution of requests: Managed by the Directorate.
      • Maximum period: One month from the receipt of the request by FIIAPP.
      • This period may be extended by another month if the volume or complexity of the requested information requires it, with prior notification to the applicant.
    • Appeal: If the applicant disagrees with the decision, they may file a claim with the Council for Transparency and Good Governance (at this link) within one month from the day following the notification or the day after the effects of administrative silence occur. The Council must resolve and notify the decision within a maximum of three months, after which the claim will be considered denied.
    • Formalization of access: Access to information will preferably be provided electronically unless legal reasons or the applicant’s explicit request indicate another means. If access cannot be provided at the time of resolution notification, it must, in any case, be granted within a maximum of ten days. Access to information is always free of charge, except when it involves making copies or converting information to a different format from the original.

    Requirements

    • It is recommended that the sender identifies themselves to facilitate the proper handling of the inquiry, providing their full name, surname(s), and email address.
    • Clearly specify the facts, reasons, and request to ensure the inquiry is reasonable and legitimate.

    Procedure

    • Reception of requests: Communication Department.

    • Resolution of requests: Communication Department.

      • Maximum period: Twenty business days from the date of receipt. This period may be suspended if clarifications are requested from the sender, who must provide them within a maximum of ten business days. If the maximum period for resolving the communication expires without notification to the sender, it will be understood that the request has not been accepted for processing.
    • Appeal: If the request for accessible information is denied and the sender disagrees, they may file an appeal by sending an email to gerencia@fiiapp.es to:

      • Understand and oppose the reasons for the denial.
      • Urge the adoption of appropriate measures if they disagree with the decision.
      • Present reasons why the response does not meet the required standards.
      • Demand a response if twenty business days have passed without receiving one.

    Upon receiving the appeal, a response must be provided within a maximum of two months. This period may be suspended if necessary clarifications are requested from the sender, who must provide them within a maximum of ten business days. After this period, the appeal process will continue. If the maximum period to resolve the appeal expires without a response, it will be understood that the appeal has been denied.

    Requirements

    • It is recommended (mandatory for complaints) that the sender identifies themselves to facilitate proper handling of the communication, providing their full name, surname(s), and email address.
    • Avoid including any personal data of the user and/or affected individuals beyond what is required or necessary.

    Procedure

    • Reception of requests:
      • Human Resources Department for issues related to personnel management.
      • Management for all other inquiries, complaints, and suggestions.
    • Resolution of requests: Handled by the competent area, as detailed above, within a maximum of twenty business days from the date of receipt. This period may be suspended if clarifications are requested from the sender, who must provide them within a maximum of ten business days. Once this period expires, processing will continue. If the maximum period for resolving the communication expires without notification, it will be understood that the request has not been accepted for processing.
    • Appeal: If the complaint is denied and the sender disagrees, they may file an appeal by sending an email to gerencia@fiiapp.es. If the communication was previously managed by Management, the General Secretariat will participate in its resolution. The appeal aims to:
      • Understand and oppose the reasons for the denial.
      • Urge the adoption of appropriate measures if they disagree with the decision.
      • Present reasons why the response does not meet the required standards.
      • Demand a response if twenty business days have passed without one.
