EU4IM: EU support for Serbia’s domestic market

Serbia

The project “European Union Support to Serbia's Internal Market”, EU4IM, aims to accompany the country on its path to access the European single market by implementing the necessary legal, institutional and management reforms.

EU4IM has European funding and is led by the FIIAPP, from Spain in consortium with the Slovak (SAIDC) and Talian (AICS) development cooperation agencies. The project has an office in Belgrade from where the project management and three specialist experts appointed by the Consortium partners will coordinate the actions.

The program's actions are structured in eight strategic areas of intervention in the process of integrating the Serbian market into the European single market: electronic commerce; market surveillance; intellectual property rights; state aid; one-stop shop; consumer protection; competition and strategic framework for quality infrastructures.

The Spanish reference institution in this project is the National Commission for Markets and Competition (CNMC), which will provide a specialist expert who will collaborate throughout the life of the project. The project will also include specialists from different Spanish and European institutions.
