The European Commission has delegated FIIAPP and Expertise France to manage a cooperation programme to reinforce the fight against organised crime in Latin America. This programme, called EL PAcCTO, will last 60 months.

The programme is financed by the European Union Development Cooperation Instrument and has a budget of 19 million euros. Its main objective is to give technical assistance to Latin American countries for an effective fight against organised crime, by strengthening the entire criminal justice system.

Expertise France and FIIAPP are guaranteeing the implementation of the project in collaboration with their partners (the Italo-Latin American Institute (IILA in its Spanish acronym), Portugal’s Instituto Camões), and with the support of European public experts.
