Development of the Bulgarian emergency system

Bulgaria

The European Union is financing this project to ensure that Bulgaria complies with Community legislation in relation to the coordination of health emergencies.  This is in addition to improving access to healthcare for vulnerable groups, particularly the Roma population.

Two Bulgarian public hospitals located in Smolyan and in Vratza are the pilot recipients of the emergency system that Spain and Italy will explain through seminars and reports as the project is developed.
