European Union-Brazil Sector Dialogues (Phase II)

Support for the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) to develop the adequate regulatory framework which is in line with international standards. Improvements in the technical, operative and legal capacities of Jordan to migrate to new telecommunications technologies will be analysed and proposed, with an emphasis on the bandwidth offered by their infrastructures, the financial capacity of their telecommunications companies and government to make new investments, the quality of the services offered, the emergency service needs, the legal framework for preventing anti-trust practises, price fixing systems, access to universal services and training TRC personnel.
