The Evaluation Programme was created in the FIIAPP in 2013 with the aim of answering these questions and reorienting actions that require a different approach to measure development results.
Over the course of this year, this programme has been conducting joint evaluations of Spanish cooperation programmes and projects within the framework of the convention signed with the Secretariat General of International Development Cooperation (SGCID) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.
Among the evaluations undertaken, the following stand out: the final evaluation of the Support Programme for the Regional Development Agencies of Senegal, the intermediate evaluation of the Institutional Strengthening Programme for the Government of the Cabo Delgado Province (Mozambique), and the overall evaluation of the Heritage Programme for Development Programme.
The evaluation of the public policies of the countries with which the FIIAPP has been working closely, either through the links established in the Twinning Programme of the European Commission or through the support provided by thematic or regional programmes, is one of the areas to be covered by the Foundation’s Evaluation Programme in coming months.
Convinced that evaluation can become an integral element of public policies, the FIIAPP is promoting training workshops aimed at the internal staff of the Foundation and of government agencies.
