The Fair aims to promote projects for the use of renewable energy sources that promote a change in the energy matrix in Cuba
From June 22 to 24, 2022, Cuba will hold the 2nd edition of the International Renewable Energy Exhibition at the PabExpo fairgrounds in Havana. The event, organized by the Cuban Ministry of Energy and Mines (MINEM) aims to boost the use of renewable energies through objectives such as:
The main topics to be addressed during the forum are: Energy transition policy in Cuba, prospects for solar energy development, EU-Cuba and Caribbean cooperation, renewable energy in the Caribbean and mutual cooperation, investment forum: investment opportunities, experiences and incentives, renewable energy policy, European Green Pact, European islands, keynote lectures: solar thermal energy, energy storage, energy efficiency and green hydrogen.
The forum seeks to create a space for the exchange of experiences, advances and new technologies in the industries and entities associated with the energy sector in Cuba.
