A través de un taller se han presentado herramientas que visibilizan las dificultades de las mujeres migrantes en Marruecos
The project “Living together without discrimination: an approach based on human rights and the gender dimension” organized a workshop in Rabat to combat gender inequalities and racial discrimination.
The activity, organized by this European project co-managed by the FIIAPP, involved several Moroccan non-governmental organizations focused on the defense of migrant women’s rights. The workshop, entitled “Women’s collective action to combat gender inequalities and racial discrimination”, served to make visible the work carried out by the associations and to analyze the role they can play in the fight against forms of discrimination affecting migrant women.
The videos “United for our rights: stories of women in solidarity” and “Intersectionality: understanding the inequalities experienced by women”, produced as part of the communication and awareness-raising strategy for the prevention of racism and xenophobia towards migrant women and men promoted by the project, were also presented.
Funded by the Emergency Trust Fund for Stability in Africa, the project aims to strengthen key state and civil society institutions in the implementation of initiatives to prevent and combat racism and xenophobia towards the migrant population in the Kingdom of Morocco.
