Estudiantes de dos masters en cooperación, visitan la FIIAPP con el objetivo de conocer en profundidad la labor de la Fundación en materia de cooperación internacional
FIIAPP hosted a large representation of students from the Master’s Degree in International Cooperation, taught by the University Institute for Development and Cooperation (IUDC) at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM); and from the Official University Master’s Degree in International Cooperation and Public Policy Management, part of the Ortega y Gasset University Research Institute.
The more than 40 students arrived accompanied by Professor José Ángel Sotillo, director of the IUDC; and by Rocío López, economic and administrative director at the IUDC, who thanked FIIAPP for organizing this open house session for the new students of both academic programmes.
In the session, general aspects of FIIAPP’s work were presented, as well as the most significant figures from its experience as an implementing agency in the field of international cooperation. In addition, students got the opportunity to look at two of the projects managed by the organization, presented by the people responsible for organizing them: EVALÚA – Triangular Cooperation Project for the Evaluation of Public Policies in Latin America and the Caribbean; and the Support for the economic modernization of Cuba – Exchange of experiences European Union-Cuba II project.
Once the presentations were over, a space was opened for questions and queries from the attendees. The session closed with a final presentation dedicated to FIIAPP’s hiring and scholarship policy, generating a lot of interest among the students.
