Exchange of good tax practices between Montenegro and Spain

This is a visit to exchange experiences, as part of the twinning project between the EU and Montenegro for the “Support to the Tax Administration” managed by the FIIAPP.   

The purpose of this visit is to present the Montenegrin officials from the Tax Administration and from the Ministry of Finance of Montenegro with the good practices of the Spanish Tax Agency, particularly with regard to the preparation and adoption of legislation and legislative reforms. The delegation is composed, among others, by the Director General of the Tax Administration in Montenegro, the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Finance, the Deputy Director of the Tax Administration of Montenegro and head of the Large Taxpayers Office.  

This project, funded by the European Commission with a budget of one million euros and lasting 18 months, aims to support Montenegro in the process of complying with the pre-accession requirements of the EU on tax matters, especially regarding the adoption and integration of EU rules in the operations of the Tax Administration.
