The Commission of Coordinators of EU Affairs of the Ministry of the Presidency and for Territorial Administration brings together the institutions of the Self-Governing communities.
The International and Ibero-American Foundation for Administration and Public Policies (FIIAPP) participated for the first time in the Commission of Coordinators of European Union Affairs (CARUE) of the Ministry of the Presidency and for Territorial Administration.
At the meeting, FIIAPP reported on the current status of the projects it manages with the European Union (EU) for improving public systems for the benefit of citizens.
The conference included the participation of the directors general of External Action and EU Affairs of the Spanish Self-Governing Communities (CA), in addition to the Director General of Relations with the Self-governing Communities of the Ministry of the Presidency, Enrique Lasso de La Vega Valdenegro, who also chaired the conference.
CARUE is a horizontally structured cooperation agency of the Ministry of the Presidency and for Territorial Administration. Its main purpose is to guarantee the participation of the Self-Governing Communities in the formulation of state positions before EU institutions and in the implementation of EU law, as well as to offer the communities a forum for the State to provide information and listen to the opinions of the communities on important issues in the process of constructing the European Union.
