FIIAPP supports the training activities in Spain of INTERCOONECTA, Spanish Cooperation's training plan, which is being implemented by AECID.
The 2016 First Call for Applications for the training activities to be held in Spain within the framework of the INTERCOONECTA Plan for promoting the creation of efficient and sustainable state structures. INTERCOONECTA has the general objective of contributing to building the capacities of institutions and actors involved in human development working to develop and implement public policies aimed at achieving greater social cohesion.
FIIAPP supports this Spanish Cooperation plan, being implemented by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), with grants to participants to cover their travel and living expenses.
This course offers technical training by professionals in the Spanish Administration and public institutions to people working in different Latin American public institutions. The course will draw on experts from Spain’s Institute for Fiscal Studies, the National Institute for Public Administration, the Association of Land Registrars , the Centre for Public Works Studies and Experimentation, and the National Civil Protection School.
The purpose of these training actions is to increase public institutions’ capacity for action in the different Ibero-American member countries to address major political, social, economic, and development challenges under the criteria of Aid Quality and Effectiveness.
The beneficiaries are mainly Latin American public institutions, which participate through the individuals responsible for the design and management of different public policies.
In this First Call for the 2016 edition, there are approximately 130 slots distributed in six courses on different themes.
The information, applications, and processing of same for participation in the courses will be handled online, through the Virtual Office of the AECID.
