The Vice President of the Spanish Government, Soraya Sáenz de Santamaría, chaired the meeting of the FIIAPP. At the meeting, the board took stock of the FIIAPP's work in 2014 and approved the previous year's accounts, as well as the budget for the 2015/2016 budget.

The year 2014 was exceptional for the FIIAPP, as it achieved its highest levels of project implementation (38 million euros) and awards (56 million euros) since it started its activities. In addition, the Foundation reached another historic maximum in 2014: for each euro contributed by the Spanish General State Administration, the FIIAPP generated a return of 15.33 euros in funds from the European Union, international institutions and those of other countries.
The FIIAPP’s international presence expanded in 2014. The Foundation worked in 91 countries (an all-time high) with international cooperation projects in sectors like security and the fight against organised crime, justice, transparency, social policies and rights, transportation and infrastructure management, green economy, public finance, and mobility and migration.

Similarly, the FIIAP has continued its collaboration with the AECID and the Secretariat-General of International Development Cooperation (SGCID) in the implementation of projects and management of the Spanish cooperation evaluation plan.
